So we just spent a week in Florida visiting family, went to Disney World & Universal, spent a lot of time on the beach. I really love Florida beaches, I have to say. The water is warm and there are so many seashells. And this time of year, not a lot of people. I’d love to go back some time.
Before we left I finished a quick little design for a contest at my local yarn shop. They’re asking for quick gift ideas or holiday ornament ideas made with yarns from the shop, and then everyone gets to vote on their favorites, and there are prizes of course! It sounded fun so I thought, why not?
So I designed a quick little coffee cup sleeve with one of my new favorite yarns hand-dyed in Salt Lake City. It’s called Yarnbrary and all the colorways are inspired by books and stories. I fell in love with this turquoise-ish one called Eat Me, Drink Me, from their Alice in Wonderland Collection. You can find it here. I just put the pattern up on Ravelry and it’s free, folks! Download it here. I hope it makes your morning a little more mellow because if you’re anything like me you could definitely use that! Happy making, xo ~Heather
